I had a friend that I used to go kayaking with. He was a SOLID boater. He had a 100% roll and regularly paddled class IV and some class V rivers. He and his wife had their first baby a couple of years ago and he had to step away from kayaking for a little while. The last time I went boating with him was on the Nantahala last year.
